Founded on distinctive values
The Barilla Group has been managed by four generations of the same family, and this explains the strong company identity which has always been based on a certain professional, human «style» distinguished by correctness and an equilibrium between respect for personnel and the Company’s interests. Methods and scenarios change, but the permanence of these values is, and will always be the best type of calling card. The Barilla «style», expressed in terms of professional and human enrichment of our employees, will remain unchanged so long as everyone who works for the Group continues to respect the basic reference values and principles. The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the ILO (International Labour Organisation) International Labour Recommendations and Conventions, the Earth Charter issued by the Earth Council, and the principles outlined in the United Nations’ Global Compact form play a central role in the definition of Barilla’s values.
